2/6 Huffington Post Missouri Appoints New State Auditor After Suicide
This article is interesting because this particular case was not an assassination, but a suicide. The new auditor will serve their predecessor's term.

1/6 Huffington Post American Man Tries To Support ISIS
I realize that Syrians are raised to hate America, so what I'm wondering is what makes this guy want to join ISIS. The article did not discuss any motives, but judging from the profile picture, the dude looks mentally insane.

5/5 Americans Divided Over Clinton's Email
I don't really see why this personal email is a problem. It might seem unprofessional, but personal emails are the ones that are easiest for an individual to access. Maybe she used it to get emails directly to her phone. Sometimes Republicans just are way too pessimistic about the world around them.
4/5 Huffington Post Republicans Enraged by University's American Flag Ban
I can understand why this is such a touchy subject. We as Americans, especially those who are Republican, hold our tradition and values tight. This ban of the flag was an attempt to be more inclusive ( It was done in California, which is more liberal), but comes across as very anti-patriotic.
3/5 Huffington Post Record Number of Voters Support Gay Marriage
This is a clear example of how politics are always changing. Our society has become more tolerant of gay marriage, almost doubling the amount of support since 2004. I think a big factor in this was Alabama's role in legalizing it. When I traditional southern state like ours takes a step like that it paves the way for more tolerance of gay marriage in the future.
2/5 Huffington Post Ferguson Judge Resigns
The reason I found this article intriguing is the reason why the man resigned. "To help restore public trust and confidence." Law enforcement is designed to protect people and its crazy to think that their identity has turned into one that threatens the trust of the people they're protecting. Maybe this judge change will restore that trust.
1/5 Huffington Post Biden Goes Ballistic on Senate
This article comes across as striking to me because of such an uncharacteristic action by the senate. We know that the members of the senate are sage and experienced but their idea to write directly to a foreign adversary like they did just comes across as embarrassing. This article shows Biden taking a leadership role as the president of the senate making sure he's the man who wears the pants. I find this miscomunication between Biden and the senate concerning and uncomfortable.
